Alex, kneeling, sleeves rolled to his elbows, firm arms plunged into the dark cabinet void, had just unclogged the stubborn pipe. One final twist of the metal snake, a sound of violent suction, and the water began to flow freely, clean, victorious. Leandro, who had watched every movement with attention that went beyond plumbing, felt a sudden heat rise up his neck. It wasn't just gratitude. It was the way Alex moved, the concentration on his face, the palpable strength in his bare forearms. The scent of clean sweat and metal mingled in the charged air. "I... I don't have cash right now," murmured Leandro, stepping closer. His gaze, however, was clear, challenging, roaming the plumber's body with an intensity he could no longer disguise. "Could I... pay you another way?"

Alex, arrodillado, mangas remangadas hasta los codos, brazos firmes hundidos en el vano oscuro, acababa de destapar la obstinada tuberia. Un ultimo giro de la serpiente metalica, un sonido de succion violenta, y el agua empezo a correr libre, limpia, victoriosa.
Leandro, que habia observado cada movimiento con una atencion que iba mas alla de la plomeria, sintio un calor repentino subirle por el cuello. No era solo gratitud. Era la forma en que Alex se movia, la concentracion en su rostro, la fuerza palpable en sus antebrazos desnudos. El aroma a sudor limpio y metal se mezclaba en el aire cargado. � No... no tengo efectivo ahora � murmuro Leandro, acercandose. Su mirada, sin embargo, era clara, desafiante, recorriendo el cuerpo del plomero con una intensidad que ya no podia disimular. � ?Podria... pagarte de otra manera?.
