MyBestFriendsDad - The Amorous Builder

Rudolph Wood is as colourful a character as he is a handsome one and we were amazed at the adventures this Charlton Heston-meets-Martin Amis look-a-like had already packed into his forty-seven years when we met him in 2009. Rudolph was sixteen when he started playing football for a professional club but when he was refused a contract the heartbroken lad signed up for the Navy. His travels took him to the USA and he found work as a steward on a 'Love boat' style cruise liner where he proved to be a big hit with the lady passengers. Ending up in Greece penniless he would later resort to some impromptu stripping in the peasant bars to survive; his mate would pass around a hat for some loose change then both lads would race away on a scooter before the police arrived. Hear the whole story and meet his team of builders for the first time in our film.
