At least for now, though, they get to baptize and bless the new young men joining our flock. I can't deny sometimes I feel some unchristian envy, standing to the side witnessing these boys being welcomed into our congregation. Israel Angel was a particular temptation. It is impossible not to have profane thoughts about that boy's ass! Angels in heaven don't have booty like Israel.
I had to keep my hands off until our Bible lesson this morning. He couldn't memorize a single verse. I swear, I don't think he could have told me his own phone number if I had asked for it. There was only one thing to be done. Of course it didn't hurt that it was the thing I've been wanting to do since the first time I saw him. Israel clearly needed a revival. It has been too long since he was anointed with the Lord's seed.
