This beautifully crafted, historically significant classic by director Arch Brown is centered around cruising and fucking at famed landmark the NYC piers. A seemingly-straight survey engineer (Johnny Kovacs) is sent to inspect the piers for a demolition company. His neighbor, well-endowed Keith Anthoni (star of Catching Up), is also headed there, though for a day of freewheeling sexual adventures. Kovacs winds up observing the ever-present hookups of Anthoni and countless other clones, the sex scenes growing bigger and kinkier as the film progresses, up to its raunchy climactic fourway. This vintage gem works as a sort of time capsule, as well as an exciting erotic experience. Stunning photography of sex throughout the now-gone piers captures and immortalizes a particular time and place in gay culture.
